1. Front Design (The Identity)

  • Placement: Typically a "Left Chest" logo (3.5" wide) or a "Full Front" graphic (10"–12" wide).
  • Usage: This is your primary identification. This is where the main business name goes so customers know who they are speaking to immediately.

2. Back Design (The Billboard)

DTF (Direct-to-Film) Printing

The "High-Definition" Solution


  • What it is: A modern process where designs are printed onto a specialized film and then heat-transferred to the fabric using a powerful adhesive powder.
  • The Finish: Thin, flexible, and soft to the touch. It feels like part of the fabric.
  • Where to use it: * Complex Logos: Designs with gradients, shadows, or many colors.
    • Photographs: Printing high-res images on t-shirts.
    • Stretchy Fabrics: Ideal for activewear and performance polyester (it won't crack when the fabric stretches).
  • Why choose it: It offers the highest detail possible. If your logo has fine lines or 10+ colors, DTF is the only way to ensure it looks perfect.

Puffy Vinyl (3D Heat Transfer)

  • What it is: A specialized vinyl that expands (puffs up) when heat is applied, creating a raised, 3D texture on the garment.
  • The Finish: Matte, soft, and physically elevated from the shirt. It looks and feels expensive.

    • Bold Typography: Making a single word or brand name stand out.

Flat Vinyl (CAD-Cut)

The "High-Contrast" Solution

  • What it is: Solid sheets of high-quality vinyl (like Siser or Chemica) are cut by a precision blade and heat-pressed into the fibers.
  • The Finish: Smooth, vibrant, and incredibly "crisp" edges. The colors are 100% solid and never fade.
  • Where to use it: * Sports Jerseys: Names and numbers for football, soccer, or hockey.
    • Safety/Workwear: High-visibility lettering for construction or outdoor work.
    • Simple Logos: 1- or 2-color designs that need to "pop" against a dark shirt.
